Teresa Giudice, Real Housewives of New Jersey star, has come out and admitted that it isn’t the easiest thing in the world to file for bankruptcy. Teresa and her husband filed for bankruptcy in October 2009 when they faced a massive debt of $11 million from failed real estate ventures.

Teresa and Joe celebrated their final episode by picking up a rather expensive diamond and flying around in a private helicopter for the day. Not what you would expect from someone so far in debt.

Even though the bankruptcy and the auctioning off of items from their mansion has been difficult for them, Teresa states that it’s a learning process, and the only thing she can really do is live one day at a time.

It’s a bit hard to plan for certain things if you know you aren’t going to be able to make it through the bankruptcy aspect, but you have to keep trying no matter what.

This is a great thing for people to understand as so many have had to go the same route, maybe not with this much debt, but the economy hasn’t been too friendly lately.
